1) TYPES OF STATE INCENTIVES FOR PHOTOVOLTAICS
Three main "Incentives Mechanisms" are used in the world for photovoltaics:
Feed-in Tariffs:
They reward with payments the grid connected photovoltaic plant's owner
for the numbers of kWh produced over a long period of time (for
example, 20 years). Investment Subsidies: The authorities refund part of the installation cost of the photovoltaic system. Solar Renewable Energy Certificates: Tradable energy commodities allowing for a market mechanism to set the price of the solar generated electricity subsidy. 
2) COUNTRIES WITH PV INCENTIVES IN THE WORLD
Financial state incentives for photovoltaics are currently offered in the following countries: Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America.
The price per kWh is only one of the 3 factors stimulating the installation of PV. The other two factors are:
insolation, if it is greater less capital is needed for a given power output administrative ease of obtaining permits and contracts.The best market for PV investments now and in a foreeseable future is Italy.
Italian tariff (2010) for ground-mounted (or greenhouses) PV: 0,346 EUR/kWh (20 years contract). Some of the most interesting regions for insolation and administrative ease are: Emilia Romagna, Sardinia, Puglia, Calabria, Sicily.
3) FACTORS INCREASING THE ECONOMIC BENEFIT
Investing an own capital paying cash, without need for a loan financing. Electricity price growing yearly at the last 30 years average rate of 5%. Use of 1-axial or 2-axial tracking systems for gain in energy production. Economies of scale made investing on very large photovoltaic power plants.
